Other Types of Gifts
Matching Gifts
Many companies have a matching gift program as a means of maximizing donations to nonprofit organizations. Check with your human resources department to find out if your company participates. If required, the Bar Foundation's Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN) is 41-6023581.
Honorary or Memorial Gifts
You can make a donation in honor of someone special. Per your request, the Minnesota State Bar Foundation will notify the honored person or the person you are remembering with a personalized notification letter.
Bequests
A gift by bequest provides you the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy
with Minnesota's legal community. Bequests both large and small help to
build the Minnesota State Bar Foundation's endowment and provide funds
to many worthy grantees. Talk with your attorney about the different ways
you can include the Minnesota Bar Foundation in your estate planning.
