Judicial Impartiality:  Public Education Materials

The MSBA Judiciary Committee has put together the following materials to make it easy for you to speak to community groups about Minnesota's judiciary, judicial selection, and the importance of a fair and impartial judiciary. The materials are also available on a CD that is available free of charge from the Minnesota State Bar Association. Along with the materials below, the CD also includes a short video with additional background for speakers, including information on judicial elections in other states, sample judicial election ads from other states, background on Minnesota's judicial selection system, and talking points for speakers. It features remarks by Minnesota Chief Justice Russell Anderson, former Governor Al Quie, a panel discussion including Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page, and remarks by MSBA President Brian Melendez.
