Corporate Counsel Association of Minnesota
A Minnesota Non-profit Organization
Affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association
Annual membership fee for MSBA members: $25

With 525 members, the Corporate Counsel Association of Minnesota (CCA) ranks among the state's most influential attorney organizations. It was formed in 1989 by Minnesota corporate attorneys to provide members opportunity to build contacts, improve their legal knowledge and learn from high-profile speakers, community members and politicians.

CCA, members of which practice in private law firms and corporate legal departments, is affiliated with the Minnesota State Bar Association but acts as a separate entity. CCA's noon-time speakers program provides high-quality continuing legal education programs and cutting-edge topics, while offering speakers access to an audience of Minnesota's select corporate attorneys.

A wide variety of speakers have presented to our members, including: Roger Magnuson, Marko Mrkonich, Andy Ubel, Tom Heffelfinger and David Gergen. While topics are normally related to law, other subjects have been addressed. Recent topics include:

  • Employment Law Trends
  • Terrorism
  • E-Commerce Law
  • Public Relations
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Internet Security
  • Intellectual Property
  • Career Development
  • Non-Compete Agreements
