Bar Exam Scores
Position:
The MSBA opposes increasing the score required to pass the bar examination.
The resolution states that the Bar opposes such an increase because:
- it has not been demonstrated that increasing the score will increase competency of Minnseota lawyers; and
- the increase may disproportionately impact persons of color who site for the bar exam.
