MSBA Positions & Policies on Admission to Practice

Bar Exam Scores Position: The MSBA opposes increasing the score required to pass the bar examination. The resolution states that the Bar opposes such an increase because: it has not been demonstrated that increasing the score will increase competency of Minnseota lawyers; and the increase may disproportionately impact persons of color who site for the bar exam. -Approved by the General Assembly 6/23/2000-
