1. Discuss Amicus Brief Bylaws amendment

Bylaws:    Article 14

2. Determine if Convention-related Bylaws need to be amended.

Beginning in 2009/2010, “Nine Days in June” is the new name and format of the annual Convention. 

Bylaws:    Article 9.3.1 and Article 15

3. Determine if dues can be waived on a case-by-case basis annually; and, if so, who has authority to approve the requests.

MSBA staff has a list of approximately ten members who have indicated they would like to continue their memberships; however, because of the economy, they cannot pay their dues in 2009-10.

4. Discuss the Diversity Committee's recommendation to amend Bylaw 9.3.4. pertaining to the nomination of an at-large officer.
