Deputy Assistant Attorney General  for Regulatory Matters, US Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and Former Chair, Antitrust Modernization Commission

Antitrust law is at a crossroads, with many topics open for debate and development.  Deborah Garza served as chair of the Antitrust Modernization Commission, whose report addressed a broad range of topics. As Deputy AAG, she now oversees transportation, health care, energy, agriculture, telecommunications and other regulatory matters for the Antitrust Division. 

Ms. Garza will discuss recent developments in merger, health care, and cartel enforcement, as well as some of the AMC’s more significant recommendations.
