Federal Magistrate Judge Leo Brisbois
Leo Brisbois serves as U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of Minnesota and chambers in Duluth. Judge Brisbois was raised in Hibbing. He is the son and grandson of enrolled members of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Indians. Judge Brisbois received his undergraduate and law school degrees from Hamline University. He served in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the U.S. Army for three years and then practiced at Stich, Angell, Kreidler, Dodge & Unke, P.A. Judge Brisbois was president of the Minnesota State Bar Association from July 2009 through June 2010.
