Judge Harriet Lansing
Minnesota Court of Appeals

Judge Lansing will present an overview of the court's origin and development, the challenges it faces, and its future initiatives.

Harriet Lansing is a judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Appointed to the court at its establishment in 1983, she is the only original member still serving on the court. She was a trial court judge in Ramsey County, served as the St. Paul City Attorney, and practiced civil, administrative, and criminal law.  She has been active in community and professional organizations and has received distinguished service awards from educational and social organizations, including Macalester College and the University of Minnesota Law School.
