Appellate Practice Lunch Series
“Confronting Crawford: Doctrine and Practice”
Judge Wright’s presentation will focus on the recent evolution of the Crawford doctrine. She will evaluate the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2009 Melendez Diaz decision on Crawford and how doctrine and practice might further evolve in light of the Virginia v. Briscoe case currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. Judge Wright will also consider the impact of Minnesota Supreme Court decisions on Crawford’s doctrine and practice.
