Invitation to Join Our Section
The Bankruptcy Section promotes interaction and education among practitioners of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy judges, and the public through regular meetings, educational programs, and pro bono services.
As this area of law grows in response to the current economy, we invite you to become a member of our section and take advantage of the many resources it offers. Since it's easier to join a group where you know you'll be met with friendly faces, we planned a free CLE and Summer Social where you can meet new friends or re-connect with old ones. We encourage our current members to come out to meet and greet your bankruptcy colleagues and welcome our new members.
CLE: Bankruptcy 101

Join us for a 3 hour CLE planned specifically for our new (and new admittee) members or for any member looking for a quick refresher course. Our experienced presenters will provide you with practical tips and basic, but central, principles for attorneys involved in debtor practice.
Summer Social
Picnic fare and soda will be provided for those who sign up in advance. Other affordable beverages will be readily available. The reserved picnic area includes seating and a tent for shade. There is no cost for our members for the CLE or the Summer Social, but please be sure to sign up in advance!
Stay for the Game!
If you would like to attend the 7:00 pm game to see the St. Paul Saints defeat the Sioux Falls Canaries, reserved seats are available for only $12. Our block of seats is limited, so sign up early!
You may collect your tickets from Eric Sherburne at "The Tracks" anytime prior to the game.
