MSBA Sections

With over 1,300 members, the Business Law Section is one of the largest Sections in the MSBA. The Section provides its members with:

Power to influence the business community through drafting and proposing legislation (e.g., improvements to the Corporation, Partnership, and LLC Acts and the UCC) and sponsoring/testifying on proposed legislation.
In-depth information on critical issues affecting business lawyers through newsletters, the annual Business Law Institute, legislative updates, and CLE offerings.
Opportunities to meet, work with, and build a powerful network of contacts through seminars, committees, and events.
The chance to contribute to the profession and the community through projects such as newsletter articles, CLE presentations, development of informational public pamphlets, and liaison with the Minnesota Secretary of State and Department of Commerce.
