Hennepin County District Court

Selecting the recipient of the annual Advocate’s Award includes consideration of several factors, including the nominee’s advancement of the cause of the disadvantaged in the civil litigation system; success in creating structural improvements in the civil litigation system, and involvement in other causes, projects and/or goals advanced by the Civil Litigation Section. 

Judge Oleisky was appointed to the District Court Bench in 1974 and is known to all civil litigators as a thoughtful, compassionate and hard working judge, with a deep commitment to and belief in the fairness of the jury system. Please join us in congratulating him as he receives this year's Advocate Award.
