The MSBA's Construction Law Section Presents
"Lessons Learned From Working in the Courts After Being a Construction Lawyer"
Two former Chairs of the Construction Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association now have a different perspective when cases need to be resolved. After spending almost a combined 30 years representing construction industry clients, they now are in a position to decide cases or help decide cases. They will share with you their perspectives on what works, what works well, and common mistakes when appearing in state and federal court in Minnesota.
Honorable Dyanna L. Street , Anoka County District Court Judge
Judge Street has been a state district court judge for two years. Judge Street was Chair of the Construction Law Section in 2008-2009.
Mary E. Schwind left the private practice of law in mid-2010 and now clerks for a federal Magistrate Judge. When she is not working for the courts, you can find her at her organic farm in Wisconsin. Ms. Schwind was Chair of the Construction Law Section in 2009-2010.
