Please join your Construction Law Section colleagues for a one-day volunteer project at a metro area Habitat for Humanity project site. Your participation will help provide housing solutions for low-income families.
Construction Law Section Members will work under the supervision of a Habitat for Humanity crew leader. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Section members will work in groups of thirteen, and multiple crews can be assigned to different projects.
There will be beverages and lunch provided.
Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity builds affordable homes throughout the entire seven county metro region using volunteer labor to help serve the needs of an estimated half a million people with serious housing problems in the Twin Cities.
Space is limited and registration will be based on order of response. Habitat for Humanity will organize its project schedule around the number of our volunteers. Please be sure you can commit to attend on November 7, 2009 if you register.
Project location and other details will follow by e-mail to those who register.
Please register by Friday, August 21, 2009.
