Please join our distinguished panelists of jurists for the definitive word on what you need to know to practice effectively in Specialty Courts. Every criminal law attorney should understand these Courts: their rationale, their purpose, and their place in Minnesota's criminal justice system, especially in light of the crisis affecting Court funding.

This CLE will insure that you're current on the procedures and requirements you'll encounter in Specialty Courts. It will help you effectively utilize these Courts to insure the best result for your clients and the justice system.

The Criminal Law Section is pleased to be able to offer you the chance to hear directly from the judges regarding what they expect of attorneys appearing before them in Specialty Courts. You will learn from their insights about common mistakes they see and how to avoid them.

Then, stay to socialize following the CLE. Appetizers will be served compliments of the MSBA Criminal Law Section, Cash Bar.

Please register by Monday, January 12, 2009.
