The MSBA's Criminal Law Section Presents

"Criminal Law Certification Exam | Review Course"

Andrew Birrell and Katherian Roe, members of the MSBA Criminal Law Certification Board, will walk you through the essential elements of the new Criminal Law Certification Exam. This review course will prepare you to take the exam the following week. Join us to ensure you are prepped and ready to go!

The review course will cover selected topics in the practice of criminal law in the federal and Minnesota state courts. The topics will include: constitutional, statutory and procedural aspects of the practice. There will be particular discussion of Fourth, Fifth and Sixth amendment issues together with some discussion of the ethical responsibilities involved in the prosecution and defense functions.

Registration will begin at 9:45 a.m. followed by the review course.

Individuals who register for the Criminal Law Certification Exam by April 14, 2010:  Free
Individuals who are not registered for the Criminal Law Certification Exam by April 14, 2010:  $10.00
