E-filing Tip- If a document requires timely service, e-serve it prior to e-filing it.  Otherwise, if a document is simultaneously e-filed and e-served, service will not occur until the filing is accepted. While filings are ordinarily accepted by the next business day, they may be rejected, in which case no service would be made.
