Mission
To provide programs for members to gain insight into FDA regulation and enforcement of medical devices, drugs, foods and dietary supplements.
Membership
Members include attorneys and paralegals from food, drug, medical device
and cosmetic companies, government agencies, law firms, as well as students
and others interested in the field.
Professional
Development
Participation in the Section activities enhances professional development,
increases visibility in the local legal community, and offers opportunities
to meet and work with peers.
CLE's
The Section offers CLE courses that keep members up to date on recent
developments in FDA law and related litigation and also assist members
in satisfying their CLE requirements.
Recognition
Members are provided opportunities to gain recognition in the field by
participating in the governance of the Section and giving speeches on
matters important to the food and drug community.
