The long wait is over, on February 1, 2013, CMS released the finalized regulations for implementation of the Physicians Payment Sunshine Act (PPSA). Please join the Health Law and Food, Drug, & Device Law Sections for this jointly-sponsored, in-depth review of the final rule. Sheva Sanders, shareholder in Leonard Street & Deinard’s Health Law practice, will present and navigate attendees through the implications for your practice and your clients. Areas covered will include:
• Which organizations must report, and what must be reported?
• When must organizations begin collecting data?
• When will reports be publically posted?
• What steps should your clients take to allow for compliance?
• What are some of the key challenges?

Law Student Reception
Following the CLE program, the Health Law & Food, Drug and Device Law Sections are sponsoring a reception with students from the four Twin Cities law schools.
Students will have an opportunity to learn more about a wide array of practices within health, food, drug and device law and meet attorneys who practice in these areas of law. Attorney members of the sections will have the opportunity to share their experiences and advice with students interested in entering these practice areas.
Drinks and appetizers will be provided by the Sections. There is no fee to attend the reception.
Attorneys from both sections are encouraged to attend.

Teleconferencing is available for the CLE program. Teleconferencing instructions will be sent by e-mail on Wednesday, March 13. Registrations must be received no later than Monday, March 11 in order to receive the instructions.
Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
