Visiting Russian Law Firm to Present an “Update on Intellectual Property and Business in Russia”

Members of the Russian intellectual property firm INEUREKA will be in the Twin Cities on April 4, 2013, to pursue the firm’s interest in establishing ties with Minnesota lawyers and businesses. They will visit the Minnesota State Bar Association for a presentation on the protection of intellectual property in Russia today, including information on both the registration methods (where applicable) and enforcement actions. They will note similarities with and differences from some other countries and will touch on developments that have enhanced the reliability of IP protection in Russia in the past decade or so. Related trade issues will also be touched on. Following a presentation of 1 hour they will invite questions from the audience. A supporting handout will be provided to attendees.
