"The New 2013 US Immigration Bill- The Biggest Changes in US Immigration Law in 50 Years?"

This month the Senate begins voting on the most massive overhaul of US immigration law in more than 50 years. If passed, the new law will significantly affect 100% of US employers and many millions of employees and families including US citizens and foreign nationals. All foreign persons in the US will be affected -temporary and permanent, documented and undocumented.

Learn more about what is in the 844 page bill, including:

  • Mandatory new electronic employer "e-verify" checks for every new employee hired in the US, increased penalties for non-compliant employers
  • Massive changes in Temporary work visa rules and green card eligibility, especially for H-1, L-1, H-2 visas and STEM occupations
  • A path to citizenship for more than 10 million undocumented people
