This month the Senate begins voting on the most massive overhaul of US immigration law in more than 50 years. If passed, the new law will significantly affect 100% of US employers and many millions of employees and families including US citizens and foreign nationals. All foreign persons in the US will be affected -temporary and permanent, documented and undocumented.

- Mandatory new electronic employer "e-verify" checks for every new employee hired in the US, increased penalties for non-compliant employers
- Massive changes in Temporary work visa rules and green card eligibility, especially for H-1, L-1, H-2 visas and STEM occupations
- A path to citizenship for more than 10 million undocumented people
- Increased Border Security
