"Peeking Behind the Curtain: Commissioner Updates on News at the MDHR"

A presentation by Minnesota Department of Human Rights Commissioner Kevin Lindsey will provide insight into trends that the Minnesota Department of Human Rights is investigating, the Department's plans for expanding mediation services to meet the individual needs of the cases and any new developments in the processing of charges, investigations and other matters.

Commissioner Kevin Lindsey previously served as a civil litigation attorney in the Office of the Ramsey County Attorney, and has 20 years of experience in resolving complex legal and public policy questions. As Commissioner, Lindsey is responsible for a department that investigates charges of discrimination, ensures that businesses seeking state contracts are in compliance with equal opportunity requirements, and strives to eliminate discrimination by educating Minnesotans about their rights and responsibilities under the Minnesota Human Rights Act.

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
