Mediations
I have mediated over 725 cases, with over 500 of these being employment disputes involving allegations of discrimination, sexual harassment or other employment torts. I have tended to specialize in cases with high emotional content. I have settled approximately 93% of the cases I have mediated.

Familiarity and Experience with State and Federal Labor and Employment Laws
I have practiced law since 1978. Beginning in the early 1980s, employment law and litigation became my primary area of practice and expertise. I began mediating employment cases in 1990 as part of my litigation practice and then became a full-time mediator in 1994, when I started my own firm. I have continued to mediate predominantly employment law claims and am very familiar with state and federal labor and employment laws.

I am a very experienced mediator of employment disputes who approaches mediation as a professional striving for professional excellence. I am thorough in my preparation, sensitive to the emotional and practical aspects of employment claims for both sides and have been told repeatedly that I am a very effective mediator. I place a high value on the parties being heard at mediation, as well as the parties’ satisfaction with their choice to settle or not settle.
