Join us to kick-off the new bar year at our first New Lawyers Section Meeting Date: Thursday September 17, 2009 Happy Hour to follow sponsored by the NLS—location TBD. ABA Conference: Statements of interest are due to Lacee Anderson by Monday, September 14th for the fall ABA Conference in Birmingham, AL. We will vote on delegates at the September 17th meeting. A full list of the ABA Conferences for the 2009-2010 Bar year can be found at http://www.abanet.org/yld/meetings.html Liaisons: Anyone interested in being a liaison for the NLS to one of the Bar’s other Sections or Committees should send a statement of interest to Vice Chair Christina Weber at by September 14th. A full list of liaison positions are listed on our webpage at http://www2.mnbar.org/sections/new-lawyers/liaisons.asp# Anyone who was a liaison last year must re-submit a statement of interest for the 2009-10 Bar year. We will vote on liaisons at the September 17th meeting and continue to fill any remaining open positions throughout the year. Chair Openings: The NLS is also taking statements of interest for a Membership Chair position and a CLE Co-Chair position.
