Please join us for an informative program designed to reacquaint attendees with the “Rules of Professional Conduct" related to marketing in Minnesota. You will learn tips to comply with the Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct under The Four Pillars of Marketing:
I. Retain and grow relationships with existing contacts
II. Develop new business
III. Increase your name recognition in the marketplace
IV. Pursue targeted communications
Terrie S. Wheeler will discuss the Rules related to marketing, and will provide each attendee with a comprehensive template to create his or her ethical marketing plan for 2012.

Terrie S. Wheeler, MBC, spent 12 years in three large Minneapolis law firms as a marketing director. In 1996 she founded Professional Services Marketing, Inc., to offer marketing consulting and one-on-one marketing coaching services to attorneys and law firms. Terrie was recently appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to serve on the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board which governs the ethical disciplinary system for lawyers in Minnesota. Terrie served as chair of the MSBA’s Marketing and Client Service Section, and on the HCBA’s Fourth District Ethics Committee as an investigator and on the screening committee. Terrie is also the creator of www.MarketYourLawPractice.com, a secure, web-based tool designed to help lawyers develop and implement an ethical marketing plan.
