This program will look at client intake, the first step in business development, a crucial yet often-overlooked one. We will examine some of the issues that law firms and attorneys face in client intake, such as:

• Check-list for initial intake
• Red flags with potentials
• Retainer policies
• Declining representation
• Opening the file

MSBA Members (But Not PM&M Section Members):  $20.00
Non-MSBA Members:  $35.00
Law Students:  $10.00

Teleconferencing is available. Request instructions when registering or contact Elyse Farnsworth prior to October 24. Instructions will be sent via email on or before October 25.

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
