The MSBA's Public Utilities Law Section Presents
"Anatomy of a Rate Case"
Please join us for an informative discussion of Minnesota electric utility rate law and process presented by Michael Bradley of Moss & Barnett. Rate regulation is an ever-evolving area of law that has taken center stage at the state level in recent years. In Minnesota, the Public Utilities Commission has authority over electric and natural gas utility rates. Mr. Bradley has extensive experience practicing before the Commission as a public sector attorney and a private practitioner representing electric utilities. He will walk us through the law applicable to the setting of electric and natural gas utility rates. Mr. Bradley will also discuss the contested case process used in rate cases in Minnesota.
