The Certification Board is the body which developed and administers the standards and system by which qualified applicants can become designated as Real Property Law Specialists. It develops and administers biannual tests, monitors periodic recertification, and has developed a program of publicly promoting the existence and identity of such specialists.

Being certified as a specialist provides opportunities for an attorney to develop, publicize, and market his/her special skills. It also provides the public with a means of finding lawyers with such skills. Additional information on the program and its benefits is available.
