Section Membership
As of June 27, 2011, the Solo and Small Firm Section has 517 members. This accounts for a 10% increase in Section membership since July 1, 2010.
Financial Status
The Solo and Small Firm Section had an account balance of $5,417.86 as of April 30, 2011.
Continuing Legal Education Programs and Social Events
The Section hosted six CLE programs in fiscal year 2010-11. In addition, the Section co-sponsored the 2010 Strategic Solutions for Solo and Small Firms Conference in Duluth in August 2010. The Solo and Small Firm Section also hosted two social events for Section members in 2010-11. These social events were well received and well attended.

Legislation and Amicus Briefs
The Section did not submit any legislative proposals or amicus briefs in the 2010-11 term.
Annual Meeting and Election Results
The Solo and Small Firm Section annual meeting and elections were held on June 2, 2011, at the Metropolitan Ballroom in St. Louis Park, MN. The meeting included lunch and a well-attended CLE program.
The following individuals were elected by the 2011-12 Governing Council to serve as Section Officers in 2011-12:

Secretary: Thomas Borash
