The MSBA's Tax Section Presents
"Defending Individuals Against Personal Liability Tax Assessments"
Struggling businesses often owe federal or Minnesota taxes and have no available assets or income to immediately pay the taxes in full. The IRS and the Minnesota Department of Revenue can make personal liability assessments against certain individuals for some types of unpaid taxes. Attend this program to learn the limits to personal liability assessments and tactics for defending individuals against them.
Following this CLE program, please join your colleagues for our annual outing to see the Twins play the Chicago White Sox (12:10 p.m. game). You must reserve a ticket prior to noon on April 22nd. To reserve your ticket, click here.
